My Story
I launched this site after a show I was producing, 'The List' (which aired on 40+ Scripps stations nationwide), came to an end. Before that, I spent more than two decades as a TV producer, working on everything from local news and Emmy-winning PBS food shows (like the one in that behind-the-scenes shot above) to national hits on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, HGTV, Food Network, and The History Channel. And let's face it—the industry has been in a free fall lately. Journalists are being asked to juggle more with fewer resources, and our inboxes are bursting at the seams with story pitches. That’s why I created this site—it’s the tool I always wished I had. Think of it as your ultimate “Go-To Source” for story ideas and expert resources.
